I opened VitaStile in October of 2004, a long awaited dream come true. The name VitaStile means lifestyle. I have always loved life, and felt it important to use the word in some form of the salon name. It was on a snow capped mountain top in Italy, while amazed by God’s beauty and reflecting, watching people whiz by on skis, I thought, WOW–how incredible life is, how many “lifestyles” are out there, how different people are, and yet how much alike we are. That is where and when the name came about.

As a salon owner, my team and I have a true passion for hair design and people. We are an artistic group of designers all highly skilled and trained, having attended classes by top educators such as Toni and Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Matrix, L’Oreal, Graham Webb, Rusk, Redkin, Deva Concepts, and our very own favorite, framesi. We also attend continuing education yearly in New York. Other destinations traveled for education include Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Raleigh, Las Vegas, and our favorite, Milan, Italy.

As a hairdresser, I hold a key that can make every day in a person’s life a little easier. My staff and I strive to be the hairdressers that make your morning routine easier, your wedding unforgettable, or presentation not so tough. We strive to achieve this by giving you a precise, high quality hair design and teaching you the proper tools and products to recreate your look at home. All in all, we want to give you the added self-confidence we all need from time to time.
